Buy a cheap compost bin before prices double!

Residents in Gloucestershire are being urged to purchase a compost bin before April 1st 2008 from as little as £8 and divert waste away from landfill.

Gloucestershire's Councils are partners in the Recycle Now home composting campaign, which provides subsidised compost bins.  However when government-funded subsidies reduce from April 1st, prices will go up - so local councils are urging residents to buy now.

The offer is limited to 3 bins per household in Gloucestershire. Delivery is free and takes up to 28 days.

Despite the April increases, prices will still be substantially lower than the manufacturer's suggested retail price.  For example, for the 330 Ltr Compost Converter bin the rrp is £50.00, but if you buy it from this scheme it will cost you only £20.
