About
Recycle Now Week
Recycle
Now Week is an exciting national
campaign to encourage everyone
to
recycle more household waste.
It launches on Saturday June
2, 2007.
The
theme this year is ‘transformation’ – a
message that is sure to capture
the imagination of households
across Gloucestershire.
The campaign will encourage
people to:
- Discover
how household waste can be
transformed into an amazing
array of objects – from
fashion items to furniture.
- Transform
their behaviour, by making
a long-term commitment to recycle
more things, more often.
- Transform
their household, school, office
or street into a recycling
hot-spot.
Denise
Van Outen, the star of the
hit BBC show ‘Any Dream
Will Do’, is
supporting the action-packed
campaign. Denise, who is enjoying
huge TV
success at home and in the US,
is a keen recycler. Her message
to households
is simple: “Don’t
throw it Outen – recycle!”
Organisers
of the campaign said: “We
are thrilled to have Denise on
board.
She is a genuine star and is
sure to be a real asset to this
year’s
campaign.”
