South West Love Food Hate Waste Campaign
Gloucestershire along with other local authorities across the south west are supporting Love Food Hate Waste, and are encouraging residents to pledge to reduce their food waste.
The aim is to collect 25,000 pledges from across the South West area, so we need your help!
Simply by pledging to reduce your food waste, you will not only be doing your bit to help the environment, but could win some great prizes too. Please note: pledges must be made before the 19th November 2009.
By pledging to do your bit you could be in with a chance of winning;
- a gourmet weekend for four at either Elmfield Hotel in Ilfracombe, Devon or Pedn-Olva Hotel in St Ives, Cornwall
- or a cookery lesson for two with LaCuizine in Bristol
- or dinner for two at Summer Lodge Hotel in Evershot, Dorset
We can all do more to make the most of the food we buy, whether it’s using up leftovers, keeping an eye on date labels or measuring portions, and this could save you up to £50 a month!
