85% discount off compost bins
Cheltenham Borough Council and Gloucestershire County Council are encouraging Cheltenham residents to do their bit for the environment by offering discounted compost bins and water butts at a one day sale taking place on Saturday 17th April.
The sale will run from 10am – 3pm at the Borough Council's Swindon Road Depot, Swindon Road.
There will be two sizes of compost bin available to suit all sizes of families and gardens.
· Standard 220ltr compost bin costs only £2 (RRP £39)
· Giant 330ltr compost bin costs only £5 (RRP £49)
The total number of compost bins available at this price is strictly limited to 700 units, and since these bins have already been available for pre-order, residents are advised to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Allocations will be made on a first come first served basis. Once the 700 subsidised units have been sold, the cost of the compost bins will be £12 for the 220 litre and £15 for the 330 litre units.
Offer restricted to residents of Cheltenham Borough Council and limited to one compost bin per household. Proof of residency will be required.
Water butts are also available for just £15 (RRP £45), together with a range of discounted accessories.
