How
to Reduce Waste
The
best way to manage our waste is
to reduce the amount we produce
in the first place!
So...
try and remember the 3 Rs.
Reduce,
Reuse, Recycle! |
 |
 |
 |

The
amount of rubbish we produce in
Gloucestershire is increasing every
year.
We
can reduce waste by trying to buy
products with less packaging,
reducing the amount of food we
waste and buying products that
are more durable or built to
last. In addition, we
can opt
out of junk
mail, reduce our paper
usage and use real
nappies! |
 |
 |
 |
Paper,
furniture, clothing and computers are just some of the items that
can be reused. Repairing broken
appliances, setting the computer
printer to print on both sides
of a sheet of paper, donating old
clothes and shoes to charity are
all easy things we can do to help
others and to reduce waste.

 |
 |
Reducing
the amount of household rubbish
that we send to our landfill sites
by recycling can help to save energy
and resources. The possibilities
are endless! To find out how and
what you can recycle go to where
you live.
