The Stanleys Waste and
Recycling Scheme
As
you may have read in the
papers, an exciting and
special trial waste and
recycling scheme began
in the Stanleys in Stroud
District last October.
The Stanleys were chosen
because they are among
the keenest and best recyclers
in the Stroud District.
This
trial is unique to Gloucestershire
and has taken place in
only a few other places
across the UK, where
it has proved very successful.
The aim is to boost recycling
and reduce the amount
of waste going to landfill – both
of which are good for the
environment.
