birth to potty, a baby
uses 5,000 disposable
nappies. That’s
8 million across the
UK EVERY
DAY – and they may
take hundreds of years
to decompose! The solution
may be modern reusable
nappies – which are
cheaper and easier to use
than most people think:
- You
may save approx £600
on your first baby and
even more if you reuse
them on subsequent babies.
- They
are so easy to use. Most
fasten with velcro or
poppers so there is no
need for complicated
folding. Flushable liners
enable easy disposal
of the solids down the
toilet.
- Your washing machine
does all the work. A
60 degree wash will sterilise
reusable nappies. No
need to soak, scrub or
boil.
- You may only need around
24 reusable nappies from
birth to potty.
- Reusable
nappies are trendy. They
come in
modern funky styles,
with fantastic colours,
patterns and materials
and have breathable waterproof
wraps.
