What
is the Stanleys waste
and recycling scheme?
The
main aim of the scheme
is to reduce even further,
the amount of waste currently
going to landfill.
This wil be achieved by
increasing the recycling
collections to once a week
rather than fortnightly.
• All
homes will be issued with
a mini kitchen bin
plus liners and a larger
sealed outside bin for
ALL food waste. This will
be emptied weekly. Click

• Recycling
collections - glass, cans
newspapers,
plastic
bottles, batteries and
foil - will now be every
week, instead of fortnightly.
• Remaining
household waste that is
not recyclable will be
collected every two weeks
due to the decrease in
landfill rubbish.
