Household Recycling Centre Summer opening hours Reminder

From the 31st March all Household Recycling Centres are open 9-5, 6 days per week. They will open for these summer hours until the clocks change in October.

Partnership and strategy

In areas such as Gloucestershire, responsibility for waste management is shared between the county council, which is responsible for waste disposal and the district, city and borough councils, which have responsibility for collecting household waste.

The Gloucestershire Waste Partnership (GWP) is a partnership of all 7 district, city and borough councils and the county council who are working together to continuously improve waste management services in Gloucestershire.

Five of the Gloucestershire authorities are also members of Gloucestershire's Joint Waste Committee.  The member authorities are: Cheltenham Borough Council, Cotswold District Council, Forest of Dean District Council, Gloucestershire County Council and Tewkesbury Borough Council.
