All household recycling centres are currently closed due to Coronavirus.

Following the announcement by the Prime Minister on the evening of Monday 23 March that everyone should stay at home to save lives, we have
closed all household waste recycling centres with immediate effect.
Recycling centres will not open from Tuesday 24 March onwards, for an indefinite period.
Visiting recycling centres is not included in the reasons for leaving home.
All households should make full use of their kerbside waste collection service, which your local council is making every effort to keep operational for your recycling, green and food waste and general waste.

Oak Quarry HRC Reuse Shop

Oak Quarry HRC now has a small reuse shop on site. It takes in donated items suitable for reuse and sells them on for a small cost which will go towards the running of the site. If you would like to donate any items or would like to find yourself a bargain, you will find the shop at the top of the site near the wooden staff hut. Please note: the shop only accepts cash payments.

Examples of items suitable for donation:

  • Books
  • DVD's and CD's
  • Pictures and frames
  • Bric-a-brac

The shop will not accept any electrical equipment/appliances or babies and children's toys for reuse. These will need to be disposed of in  the appropriate recycling bin. It will also not take any commercial waste.
